I believe everyone should have beautiful, meaningful images of their special moments and the people they love. I am also a lifelong student of the art of photography, continually learning and growing in my craft. These values inspired a creative approach to how I structure payment for my work.
Rather than accepting traditional payment for photography sessions, I follow a “pay it forward” model. All contributions for sessions are directed to the Academy of the Winds Montessori School in Lander, Wyoming, where I am deeply involved in education and community support. These funds go toward providing scholarship assistance for students who need additional financial support to attend.
This approach allows clients to receive their captured memories while also making a meaningful impact in the lives of local students. In addition, contributions qualify as tax-deductible donations, and clients receive a receipt from the school during tax season.
A deposit of half the session amount is required to reserve your date and can be sent by mail or via Venmo to:

My senior portrait sessions are priced based on the experience, not the duration of time, nor the number of pictures you will receive. Senior Portrait sessions take as long as they take and I charge a flat rate for this type of session.

Destination weddings are an option on a case-by-case basis. Short answer is, yes.
Blithe Photography is solely operated by one photographer; however, at times, I have worked as a trainer for other photographers and will provide them with training opportunities should the scheduled photoshoot fall during their time of mentorship.
I am open to discussing the potential need for extended sessions. This will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
My current camera set up is two Canon R6s with a variety of lenses and flashes (should the session need one). My favorite lens is my Canon 85mm f1.2 which gives the dreamiest bokeh for portrait images. I also have several canon telephoto lenses that I primarily use on dynamic setting photoshoots like weddings or family portraits.
I firmly believe that your images are your images. My philosophy is: if the image turned out, I will edit it and post it in your gallery. All of the images in your gallery are yours to use as you choose without limitation from me.
Yes and no. I may offer a seasonal or holiday-specific mini session in the future; however, I do not at this time. I am more than willing to discuss an option for a mini session should budget be a factor in choosing Blithe Photography.
To a certain extent, yes. What I have listed is my base rate for packages. This includes all images, the session taking as long as it needs, and any re-do sessions necessary for any number of reasons that can occur. Payment plans are negotiable, evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and are more than open for discussion. Please don't let the price keep you from opening up a dialogue about your circumstances and needs.
